During the summer of 2008, Beluga Mundo arranged a concert through a friend in Trzcianka, Poland. The whole band and a handful of close friends laid out on a journey to Trzcianka, where the culmination would take place on a regular Thursday at Cactus Pub. With a very cheerful Polish crowd and great support from Norwegian friends, the concert was a true blast, vodka free floating, extras performed, and some good old dancing in front of the band. Even the local TV station found their way to the pub for a bit of filming and an interview. A night the band will never forget.

Beluga Mundo has worked for quite a while with their music and only recently started playing live shows. The first concert was played at a small venue called Skuret in Oslo in March of 2008. The gig was in many ways the first chance to share the songs with an audience and the feedback was very positive. Beluga Mundo appeared like a band ready to entertain and channel their music well live.

Drøbak, Norway
After playing in Poland this summer, it was time to put ourselves on display in our hometown Drøbak and so we played a gig at Reenskaug Hotel. To our great enjoyment, the crowd grew somewhat larger than expected, nicely dispersed throughout the Chesterfield sofas and in front of the intimate stage. It was great fun to play on home-turf amongst friends, family and locals who seemed to enjoy our music this fine August night.

With Anna Lena Bruland, Beluga Mundo held an alternative x-mas concert at their local hang-out for more than 15 years. Thus, no Christmas songs were sung. The concert was also a charity concert profiting an organization that, for 40 years, has arranged an alternative x-mas celebration for people whose fortune is not that of celebrating with their dearest ones. Det Gamle Bageriet is a small place, but with its 400 year old log-walls, the sound was superb and the bands delivered an intimate and intense concert. Perhaps a happening worth repeating?
